Assfalg was recently able to sell an EPM telescopic magnetic lifting beam TB5R-8T (T= Telescope, B= Beam, 5 EPM magnetic modules, R= Rotatable modules, 8 tonnes lifting capacity).

What is special about this TB5R-8T lifting beam?
The customer has different sizes of narrow sheet metal strips (up to 12.5 m long, from 4 mm material thickness and max. 8 t weight).
Assfalg has built a telescopic lifting beam for this customer, which is both telescopic and has rotating modules.
With this lifting beam, the customer now has a compact telescopic lifting beam on the one hand and, on the other, gains flexibility thanks to the rotating magnetic modules. These rotating modules, which allow horizontal rotation by 90°, enable the lifting beam to separate and transport metal sheets and strips.
- Solid steel EPM magnetic modules (patented)
- Inching (= tipping function) for separating sheets from 4 mm in the stack
- Regulation of the adhesive force levels (4 levels)
- Selectable zones. Magnetic modules that are not required can be switched off. This also means that a large magnetic traverse system can be used safely to transport smaller sheets.
